with nothing in sight
we'll drive through the night
hopeless
pull your hair out
the winds of change
the passage, the void
all of your time spent
just waiting to die
just turn your back on me
this life
should not have been
and should not be
Somewhere beyond the sea
the soil, the sky, the trees.
All of my life
I've been transparent
in dirt and dying leaves
it doesn't mean a thing
All of my life
I've been coherent
what has become of me?
it doesn't mean a thing.
Run
hide
dawns approach breathes life
pain
so heavy
roots are torn
like a giant's been dragging you
fall
like the trees
and leave behind
patches of broken earth.

the passage, the void
all of your time spent
just waiting to die
since age 16
you sang of misanthropy
this life
should not have been
and should not be
Somewhere beyond the sea
the soil, the sky, the trees.

This is a rare gem. This is one of those albums you know your going to like before the first cord is struck. This is that album for me. I just had this feeling on seeing the album art that this is going to be special. So much in fact I dropped what I was listening to and bought the CD without even a slight listen. And when I did finally download and listen I was rewarded with something truly special. This album is my album of the year vote. Ya I know it came out in 2015. I don't care. Frederick Jones
